Carlo Frasnelli: Story of Carlo Frasnelli

My alpine career has began in 1990, beginning to ascend the nicest caps of the alps. From Mont Blanc to Finsterahorn, Ortler and the classic routes in the Dolomites. I'm alpine guide since 2003 in the region of Arco, today i'm especially guiding in the eastern part of Switzerland. Here in the Engadin I have found my second home, I appreciate it to show the people the nice mountain ranges in the Alps. But also rock-climbing is for my very important, especially multipitch routes. My favourite climbing spots are Marmolada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmolada), the Wendenstöcke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendenst%C3%B6cke) and the Rätikon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A4tikon).

Nice routes i've done:

1990: Piz Bernina

1992-1997 mountaineering: About 40mountains over 4000 meters in the Alps, and some famous nord faces like the Piz Roseg, Ortler, Mont Blanc, Aletschhorn or Weisshorn

1992-2000 climbing: More than 150 routes in the Dolomites, with levels from 4. to 9. grade

2003: I made the mountain guide licence

2004: First 8a Rotpunkt in Cavedago, some 7b+ one sight,

2007: Hannibal Alptraum in Rätikon hard 7c.

2008: First 7c+/8a one sight, in Müllernalp CH.

2009: Weg durch den Fisch (Marmolada) 7b+ and Rotpunkt. Batman Wendenstöcke (7b+). Via Italia Marmolada one sight 7a
